Pick up a blue level 1 board which features 3 simple letter words to get started. Look at the pictures and letters to see if you can match up the blue tiles. Once you have learned how to spell the words, you can turn over the board for a trickier game where the letters are removed from the board. As children build up their confidence, they can advance to the orange board which introduces blending sounds and more complex words up to 5 letters.

Learning with Sound It Out is a fun way to develop children?s language skills and teaching them how to spell simple words and blend sounds. Playing will instil confidence and helps children develop problem solving skills.
